Question: Eating coffee beans, does it contain caffeine?

I am eating chocolate covered coffee beans. Does eating the beans give me caffeine? I was wondering if maybe in order to have caffeine the beans must brewed?

Yes, the beans and the chocolate contain caffeine..

Yep, they do contain the caffeine, unless they are decaffeinated beans

Oh yeah.. alot of caffeine. When I was in the desert and we'd have to stay up for watch we would chew on coffee beans and they seemed to have alot more strength that way. Though it may have something to do with the rancid taste keeping you up just as much as the caffeine.
