Many gourmet markets that sell coffee beans sell chicory. The French and Italians love it mixed with coffee. It was also used in WW1 and WW11 because coffee was so scarce. There are also canned coffees that contain chicory . The most famous being cafe Du Monde( Louisiana) ( they also make the greatest beignet mix) cafedumonde.com/ coffee.html If your looking to buy it online just straight hickory Todaro Bros in NY has it( you can call 212-532-0654). If your looking for a store in your area, it's possible that Whole Foods may have it( at one time they did). That I can'tguaranteee. Cafe Du Monde is the best way to go. Again, just thinking about the Beignets make me hungry( so good).
