Question: I have a question about coffee?

I'm 14 and every afternoon I get a glass of coffee and I add ice and drink it. I don't know why but I love drinking this. It soothes me instead of making me jittery. Anyways, my question is if a 14 yr old female drinks a big cup of coffee every day, are there any cons in the long run? Is this bad for my health?

No. I have been drinking coffee since I was 4 years old. Seriously. I did have some milk and sugar but it was mostly coffee. My sister and brother, too. More and more they are finding that coffee consumption can actually be good for you. It is being found to lower the risk of type 2 diabetes, colon cancer, and Parkinson's disease. Also it can lift your mood, stave off headaches, and help prevent cavities.

It absolutely is. try drinking tea instead. It's healthier and soothing to the soul.

It will stain your teeth, but other than that it's not that bad for you. Edit: My ex-best friend was like the answerer above me, she drank coffee since she was 2. Her teeth looked nasty, and she couldn't get rid of the stains, so she stopped drinking it and it got a little better over a few months, but they still weren't as white as mine or any of our other friends.
