Turkish coffee is very different than espresso, although it's delicious. The Bialetti Brikka espressozone.com/ bialetti-brikka-stovetop-espresso-maker-8964.aspx is a stove-top espresso maker that will produce rich crema (the only stove-top moka pot that does). It's not the same as a good machine, but it's much better than many of the cheaper espresso machines out there.

Use a french press...since espresso can only be made using pressure from steam, you will not get the true results of an espresso (i.e. that thick creama foam) however the taste will be similar. Just be sure to use a medium roast and to not grind the beans too finely or else they will pass right through the mesh in the press.
