It really depends what you want it for. If you drink espresso then Id suggest getting an Aeropress or a mypressi which are not full machines, and cannot do milk, but do make excellent coffee. You should have some money left over to get a decent grinder, and if you are serious about espresso then a good grinder is essential. If you want milk based (latte/ Cappuccino) drinks, then you need a full machine, perhaps coffeegeek.com/ reviews/ consumer/ gaggia_coffee You might want to get a lower end machine, and see how you get on, see what you like about it and what you dont. Maybe you want one that makes great coffee and you dont care it takes ages to clean, or maybe you just want something quick and easy. Its all about whats right for you. |
