A latte is made with steamed milk, so if you order it from a coffee place they hold the foam that comes from steaming the milk. a cappucino is made with foamed milk so if you order it from a coffee place they don';t hold the foam, and since its foam it seems lighter or less milk but its just the kind of hot milk they use. a mocha is a mocha latte. Its just a latte with mocha syrup added, which generally makes it sweeter since lattes and cappucinos dont normally come with sugar or sweetener unless you ask for them. |

Its all about proportions latte is made with more milk than cappuccinos. and mocha's are lattes made with chocolate sauce or chocolate flavoured milk is used instead. :-) you said your not much of a coffee drinker but have you tried frappe's? they are really nice! flavoured iced coffee mmmm :-) |

A latte has more milk in it, most of it steamed. A cappuccino has less milk in it, with only a dollop of foam. And a mocha is like a chocolate latte. |

Until I read the other answers I didn't even know that there was any difference at all! I thought that a cappuccino and a mocha were different words for the word Latte! |
