Question: Does anyone have a slush mug?

Does anyone have one of the original slush mugs? I bought one and just got it yesterday. It says to freeze for 6 hours and then you can use it. So I did that and then tried it. It is suppose to make a slush in about 6 minutes. Mine is taking like 20! Any advice? Anyone else had this problem? I am using Mt. Dew by the way.
